Murray Scholls Vision Center is pleased to offer a wide range of optometric services, eye care products including eyeglasses, specialty eyewear, frames, and contact lenses. Our staff is happy to help however we can.
Our mission is our patients having the best possible experience from check-in to check-out at any of our clinics. It shows in everything that we do. Marybeth Roboca-Vu, O.D.
Dr. Marybeth Roboca-Vu has been working at Murray Scholls Vision Center since January 2021. Previously, she was working as the main optometrist in a clinic in Battleground, Washington.
Dr. Marybeth grew up in Hillsboro, Oregon and graduated with her bachelors at Portland State University. She went on to study optometry in Forest Grove at Pacific University. During her past internships and work experiences, Dr. Marybeth has gained knowledge in ocular disease management, scleral contact lens fitting, and vision therapy.
When it comes to Dr. Marybeth’s favorite part of being an optometrist, she would have to say that she loves establishing a connection with patients and findings ways to help their every day lives by improving their vision.
Outside of clinic, Dr. Marybeth likes to spend her time sewing, drawing, and playing the piano or guitar. She loves attending concerts and having board game nights with friends.
Elaine Wyner, O.D.
Dr. Elaine Wyner joined Murray Scholls Vision Center in January 2019. Prior to starting with us, Dr. Elaine worked in a few clinics in the area before finding her optometry home at Murray Scholls Vision Center.
Dr. Elaine grew up in Philomath, Oregon and graduated from Oregon State University with a bachelors in Nutrition and Health Sciences. She went on to study at Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon. During her studies/ clinical rotations, Dr. Elaine was especially interested in primary care, ocular disease, and specialty contact lenses.
Dr. Elaine is most excited about practice when she is actively problem solving with patients and looking for practical solutions to everyday problems. She believes there is a perfect pair of glasses or contacts to help every patient thrive in what they love to do. On the medical side, Dr. Elaine also enjoys caring for patients with anything from corneal abrasions to glaucoma.
Outside of clinic, Dr. Elaine spends most of her time with her husband and two children. When not playing with her kids, she enjoys running, cycling, and getting together with friends.
Tammy Nguyen, O.D.
Dr. Tammy Nguyen joined Murray Vision Center in October 2020. Murray Scholls Vision Center is Dr. Tammy’s first job since graduating optometry school.
Dr. Tammy was raised in Clackamas, Oregon where she completed her Bachelor’s Degree at Oregon State University. She went on to complete her Doctor of Optometry at Pacific University College of Optometry. She has completed training throughout the nation and gained extensive knowledge in primary care, contact lenses and ocular disease management.
Dr. Tammy enjoys working at Murray Scholls Vision Center. The most satisfying part of her job is being able to interact and meet new people everyday. She wants to help patients find solutions to achieve their best possible vision.
On her days off, Dr. Tammy enjoys hiking, traveling, exploring Portland’s food scene and cheering on the Portland Trail Blazers.
Corry Scott, O.D.
Dr. Corry joined Murray Scholls Vision Center in 2022 after working several years at National Vision locations in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho.
A graduate of Pacific University College of Optometry, Corry has experience working in several different optometric modalities such as surgical pre- and post-op care, ocular disease management and binocular vision anomalies.
Dr. Corry says he is most fulfilled when working in a primary care setting such as ours, where he can see a multitude of different patients of all ages, catering to a wide range of visual needs.
When not seeing patients, Corry is on a quest to find the best coffee shops and pizza restaurants.
